BIOGRAPHY
A pro rider by day, plumber by night, Jonathan mixes his talent like plumbers putty by shredding park, pipe and the SBX course. While all of his major results have come from SBX, he's known for some of the biggest airs in the pipe and credits his SBX speed from knowing how to hit the hole shot and handle big kickers in the course.

UPDATE
It was World Cup best after World Cup best for the kid from Mass. as Cheever hit consistent new highs once the 2009 season started going. He broke the top 10 barrier at the Olympic test events at Cypress Mountain in Vancouver, and then went on to swipe his first career podium in Stoneham. When it was all said and done, Cheever had four top-10 finishes and some new fuel for his confidence going into 2010.

FIRST TRACKS
"I started skiing when I was 8 at Nashoba Valley. During Thanksgiving of ‘97 my parents had free snowboard lessons at Attitash Bear Peak in New Hampshire. I jumped on a stick and never turned back. Nate Park helped me out quite a bit when I met him in 2004 and continues to do so. I didn't know anything about anything until I met that dude."

I AM
A licensed Journeyman plumber. "I am into almost all sports. I just bought a dirtbike, so we'll see how that goes." Dedicated: "It can sometimes be difficult to work 12 hour days, sometimes nights and still find time to keep in shape. However, the way I see it I have no choice. I have to be in the gym at least five days a week all summer long so I can be ready to perform this upcoming season." Calls Ted Williams hero and chows at Lo Contes in the North End of Boston and when I feel like Chinese, I eat at Kowloon on Rt. 1 Saugus back East. If asked the question, "Are you handsome?" his answer would be "Very."
